1. Who you are buying from
You are buying from StructTech LLC, doing business as Material Matrix. We are the seller and the merchant of record. Your card statement and your receipt both come from us.
Windy Hill Metal Sales manufactures the material. They are our supplier, not a party to your purchase, and you do not contract with them.
2. Prices, tax and freight
The price you see at checkout is the price. Before you pay, we show you the material and its price, freight or that you have chosen pickup, Indiana sales tax, and the total.
We do not add anything after payment. We cannot currently apply a resale exemption at checkout, so Indiana sales tax is charged on every order.
If a price on the site is obviously wrong - a decimal in the wrong place, a panel priced at a dollar - we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour it. We will tell you straight away if that happens.
3. Made to order, and what that means
Most of what we sell is roll-formed or cut to your measurements after you order it. It does not sit on a shelf.
If your order contains roll-formed or custom-cut material, the lead time is shown at checkout before you pay, and that is the number that governs. A stock-only order has no lead time to show.
Your measurements are yours. We cut to the numbers you give us. Please check them.
4. Returns
If your order contains custom-cut or roll-formed material, the return policy is shown at checkout before you pay, and you have to acknowledge it to place the order. That is the binding version. A stock-only order shows no return policy at checkout.
In short, and without overriding what you agreed to at checkout: custom-cut and roll-formed material is made to your measurements and cannot be returned. Stock items in unused, resalable condition are a different matter.
5. Delivery and pickup
If you choose delivery, we deliver to the address you give us, and someone needs to be able to receive it - this is building material on a truck, not a parcel.
If you choose pickup, the location is shown at checkout.

When the material becomes your responsibility: on pickup, when it leaves our hands. On delivery, when it reaches the address you gave us.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel any time before we hand your paperwork to the manufacturer. Orders are printed and driven over in batches, usually the same day, sometimes the next morning.
We will email you the moment your order is handed over. After that email it is in production. Call us and we will try, but we cannot promise.
7. What we promise about the material
We are a distributor. We do not manufacture the material and we do not add a warranty of our own. Windy Hill Metal Sales makes it.

Any manufacturer's warranty Windy Hill provides passes through to you.
If something is wrong with the material, contact us. You bought it from us, so we are your point of contact, and we take the claim to Windy Hill on your behalf. You should not have to chase our supplier.

8. Your account
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the shop.
9. If something goes wrong between us

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Indiana.
There is no arbitration clause.
10. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it. Changing this page later does not change a deal already done.
